We offer short- to medium-term accommodation options. We work with Agencies, Liverpool city council & other local authorities to find the right housing solution for Armed Forces service leavers and veterans.
Our Drop in centre is open for local veterans, it provides a safe haven and an access point to veteran support services Including Mental health & Addiction support.

The Scope of the Blocks work is crisis prevention including housing, addiction and mental health support.

To get support from the Block you must be a veterans / ex forces
experiencing a homeless crisis.

Referrals to The Block can come from a range of sources, including, but not limited to: the homelessness sector such as Liverpool White Chapel, the veteran charity sector.
Local Authorities, His Majesties Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). The Defence Transition Service (DTS) and The NHS(Merseycare).
As veteran you can can also apply directly.
Referrals can be made through this dedicate webpage, and telephone access.

Veterans Mindfulness based stress reduction. (MBSR )
A non-clinical project that focuses on mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) therapy pathways in natural environments, designed by Veterans for Veterans, Armed Forces and the Blue Light Emergency services community.
The project is now awaiting funding to continue its aims.
Bringing like-minded people together to deliver mindfulness tools, soul training, respite.
It provides relief from stress / anxiety or burn out and we will look at overcoming any form of isolation and/or depression.
